Case Western Reserve University graduate student Cassandra Laios led the Spartans during the second day of the 2019 University Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
The Spartan women finished fifth out of seven teams at the meet, scoring 66 points during the two days of competition. Washington (Mo.) won the conference title for the women with 170.50 points, and were followed in the standings by Chicago (155) and Emory (121). The CWRU men finished tied for fifth out of seven teams with 50 points. New York University also scored 50 points throughout the meet.
