Case Western Reserve University graduate student guard Griffin Kornaker dished out a program-record tying 13 assists, and senior guard Robert Faller scored a career-high 25 points, as the Spartans turned in a dominating 111-82 win over John Carroll University at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The win is the seventh-straight for the Spartans, who improved to 7-1 overall on the season, matching the 1984-85 squad for the best eight-game start in program history. In the process, CWRU handed John Carroll its first loss of the season, as the Blue Streaks dropped to 4-1 overall.
