Case Western Reserve University first-year centerfielder Nick Harms was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for baseball, after belting four home runs, including two walk-off game winners, to lead the Spartans to a 3-1 series win against Washington University (Mo.), and allowing the team to clinch the 2022 University Athletic Association Championship.
Harms hit a team-high .412 (seven-for-17) over the four games with a double, four home runs, six runs scored and seven runs batted in, while adding a pair of walks. He went four-for-six during the series finale with three runs scored and three RBIs, including a solo home run in the ninth inning and a walk-off two run home run in the top of the tenth, lifting CWRU to an 8-7 win.
