The Spartans fall to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in the University Athletic Association, while the Maroons improve to 6-8 and 1-2 in conference play.
First-year forward Cole Frilling scored 25 points, including 17 in the first half, to lead all scorers. Junior guard Antonio Ionadi added 15 points and four rebounds with senior forward Michael Hollis leading the squad with five rebounds.
