Case Western Reserve University junior forward Cole Frilling was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for Men's Basketball after nearly averaging a double-double over three Spartan wins last week.
Frilling put up team highs with 16.7 points per game and 9.7 rebounds per game. He shot 52.6% (20-of-38) overall, including 38.5% (five-of-13) from three-point range and 83.3% (five-of-six) from the free throw line. He also had five assists, three blocks and two steals during the week.
Frilling's best game of the week came during the team's 84-73 win over Otterbein on Thursday, when he recorded career-highs with 31 points and 15 rebounds, shooting 12-of-18 overall, three-of-six from behind the arc, and four-of-five from the free throw line.
