Graduate student guard Danny Frauenheim was one of three Spartans with 20 or more points and surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career, as the Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team topped New York University 96-92 on Sunday afternoon at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland.
The Spartans have now won four-straight games and five of their last six to improve to 16-3 overall and 6-3 in the University Athletic Association. CWRU remained one game back of WashU in the conference standings and tied for second with Carnegie Mellon and Emory with five games remaining in the regular season.
