Former Case Western Reserve University quarterback Rob Cuda has signed a deal to play for the Murcia Cobras of the Spanish League of American Football's top division for the 2021 season.
Cuda, now 24, completed his Spartan career in 2017 and was named the first Presidents' Athletic Conference Player of the Year in program history following his senior campaign. He was a two-time University Athletic Association Player of the Year (2016 and 2017) and named to the D3football.com All-South Region Third Team in both 2015 and 2017.
Cuda ended his career with 2,128 rushing yards, the most ever by a quarterback in program history and the ninth most in school history overall, while ranking econd in school history with 7,883 passing yards, 77 passing touchdowns and 10,011 yards of total offense.
