Case Western Reserve University senior guard Robert Faller was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for Men's Basketball, after helping lead the Spartans to a pair of wins last week, including a last-second victory in the team's conference opener at Carnegie Mellon.
Faller scored 22 points during the Spartans' 89-88 victory over the Tartans on Saturday, shooting an efficient eight-of-12 from the floor and two-of-two from three-point range, while connecting on all four of his free throw attempts. He added seven rebounds, an assist and a steal during the game. Faller scored 18 of his 22 points during the second half of Saturday's game, helping the Spartans overcome a 16-point deficit with just over 16 minutes to play.
