Case Western Reserve University junior forward T.J. Duckett recorded his second double-double through three games this season, registering career-highs with 24 points and 16 rebounds, but it was not enough for the Spartans, who fell to the College at Brockport Golden Eagles 90-78 in the Championship Game of the 2016 Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Tournament at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Saturday.
The Spartans now stand at 1-2 on the year, while Brockport improved to 2-0, and claimed the team championship at the tournament with the victory.
Duckett was named to the All-Tournament Team, averaging a double-double with 14.
