The Case Western Reserve University football team was picked to finish third in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in a poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors, along with local media, conducted at the PAC Football Media Day on Tuesday afternoon at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
While the Spartans did not play during the 2020-21 academic year due to the pandemic, the team is coming off one of the most successful seasons in the program's history in 2019. During that campaign, CWRU went 9-2 overall, while claiming the second PAC Championship in program history and reaching the first round of the NCAA playoffs.
