Case Western Reserve University junior Rocco Maue (Moon Township, Pa. / Moon Area) was named the second baseman on the D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region First Team, following his standout campaign for the Spartans in 2018.
Maue was named the University Athletic Association Position Player of the Year and earned all-conference first team honors in 2018 after batting .358 with a program-record 11 home runs (18th in Division III currently) and 35 runs batted in. He also led all UAA players with 26 stolen bases (28th in Division III) on 27 attempts and was second in the conference and 38th in Division III with 38 runs scored during the campaign.
