After leading the team to a 41-10 win over Westminster College, Case Western Reserve University senior running back Jacob Burke was named both the Presidents' Athletic Conference and University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week.
Burke carried the ball 26 times for 160 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans, who entered the game with the second-best rushing defense in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. He scored all three of his touchdowns in the first half, getting CWRU on the board with a seven-yard scoring run with 10:49 left in the first quarter, extending the lead to 14-0 with a 28-yard run with 8:08 remaining in the quarter, and capping off a 71-yard drive with a two-yard TD run with 14:32 left in the second quarter.
