The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a dominating 98-71 win at University Athletic Association rival New York University in Brooklyn, New York on Friday night.
The victory was a statement win for the CWRU, which controlled the pace from start-to-finish against the Violets, who entered the game with just one loss on the campaign. The Spartans now stand alone at the top of the UAA standings with a 2-0 conference record, and are 12-1 overall, with a program-best 12-game winning streak. NYU dropped to 9-2 with the loss.
