The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team connected on 15 three-point shots on Friday night en route to a 91-71 win at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The Spartans improved to 3-3 in University Athletic Association play and to 13-3 overall following Friday night's win. Brandeis dropped to 11-6 overall and to 3-3 in conference games.
Four Spartans finished in double figures on Friday, led by senior forward Cole Frilling, who scored 19 points on an eight-of-14 shooting effort, including three-of-five from long range, and added nine rebounds. Graduate student guard Mitch Prendergast and sophomore forward Umar Rashid each scored 17 points, and sophomore guard Sam Trunley added 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists, with all three hitting three three-point tries.
