The Case Western Reserve University baseball team returned home to Nobby's Ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio for the first time in three weeks on Saturday, picking up a sweep of a doubleheader against SUNY Fredonia with a 19-0 win in the opening game, followed by a 5-3 come-from-behind victory in the second game of the day.
The Spartans have now won four-straight games and six-of-seven overall to improve to 10-6 on the season. CWRU also remained perfect at Nobby's Ballpark this season, raising its home record to 4-0. Fredonia dropped to 9-7 overall with the pair of losses.
Senior second baseman Rocco Maue drove in six runs over the two games, and sophomore outfielder/ catcher Jake Ryan collected six hits in 10 at bats, including three doubles, raising his batting average to .
