The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team suffered a 106-70 loss to eighth-ranked Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday afternoon.
The loss was the fourth-straight setback for the Spartans, who fell to 1-4 in University Athletic Association play and to 8-8 overall. Emory raised its record to 14-2 overall with a 4-1 league record.
First-year forward Cole Frilling led the Spartans with 19 points, eight rebounds and three steals on Sunday, shooting eight-of-12 overall and one-of-three from behind the three-point line. Senior forward Michael Hollis added 10 points and five rebounds, and junior guard Ignas Masiulionis came off the bench to connect on three three-pointers for nine points.
