The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team finished its weekend road trip with an 89-72 loss at the University of Chicago on Sunday afternoon.
Chicago improved to 16-6 on the year with a 7-4 record in University Athletic Association games. The loss was the third-straight for Case Western Reserve, which dropped to 3-8 in the conference and to 10-12 overall. CWRU senior Jimmy Holman started the day strong, hitting four of six shots and connecting on three of four three point attempts in the first half, scoring 13 of his Spartan-best 18 points in the first 20 minutes of action.
