The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team fell to Denison University in its first road game of the season, dropping an 85-75 decision to the Big Red in Granville, Ohio on Tuesday night.
The loss dropped the Spartans to 1-3 on the year, while Denison remained undefeated for the campaign with a 3-0 record.
Freshman Daniel Chambers came off the bench to score 19 points to lead all Spartan players on Tuesday, finishing the game six-for-13 from the floor and converting on all six of his free throw attempts. Senior guard Javier Alvarez scored a season-high 18 points, connecting on eight-of-17 shots, and adding a game-high three steals.
