The Case Western Reserve University football team received votes in the D3football.com Preseason Top-25, released by the website on Thursday afternoon.
This is the fourth-straight year that the Spartans have either been ranked or received votes in the D3football.com Preseason Poll. CWRU was ranked 22nd in the website's preseason poll in both 2017 and 2018, and received votes in 2016.
The Spartans, who finished the 2018 season with an 8-2 overall record, will be returning 18 starters from last year's team, including eight all-conference honorees, headlined by All-American defensive end and PAC Defensive Player of the Year Cameron Brown, PAC Newcomer of the Year and All-Region Third Team quarterback Drew Saxton, and All-Region Second Team wide receiver Colt Morgan.
