The Case Western Reserve University football team was picked to finish second in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in a poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors, along with local media, conducted at the PAC Football Media Day on Tuesday afternoon at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
The Spartans are coming off an 8-2 campaign in 2018, which including a 7-2 mark in PAC games, good for a tie for second place in the conference. CWRU is slated to return 18 starters from last year's team, including eight all-conference honorees, headlined by All-American and PAC Defensive Player of the Year Cameron Brown, PAC Newcomer of the Year and All-Region Third Team selection Drew Saxton, and All-Region Second Team wide receiver Colt Morgan.
