The Case Western Reserve University football team concluded the 2017 season ranked in a pair of national polls released following Friday's NCAA Division III national championship game, the Stagg Bowl.
The Spartans were ranked 13th in the final D3football.com Top-25, a three-spot improvement on their ranking from the final poll of the regular season. It is as high as the Spartans have been ranked by the organization since checking in at ninth in the final regular season poll of the 2009 season, and the highest the team has ever been ranked in D3football.com's final poll of the year.
