The Case Western Reserve University baseball team dropped the second game of a four-game to Emory University on Saturday afternoon at Nobby's Ballpark, falling 11-1 in eight innings to the Eagles.
The second game of Saturday's doubleheader was postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, April 2 starting at 10:00 a.m.
The loss was the third straight for the Spartans who fell to 10-10 overall and 2-4 in the University Athletic Association. Emory improved to 15-9 with a 4-1 UAA record.
After a one-hour, 37-minute rain delay to start the game, both teams went scoreless through the first three innings of the game, before Emory score four runs (two earned) in the top of the fourth.
