Despite taking an early lead and hanging close throughout, the Case Western Reserve University baseball team suffered an 10-5 setback against the fifth-ranked College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio on Tuesday afternoon.
The loss dropped the Spartans to 21-15 on the season, while Wooster improved to 25-5 with the victory.
CWRU senior left fielder Josh Neal and sophomore third baseman Jacob Kucia each had two of the team's six hits in the game, and freshman first baseman Casey McConihe went one-for-four with a triple and three runs batted in.
