The Case Western Reserve University football team celebrated Homecoming Weekend by breaking the 40-point mark for the fourth-straight week and improving to 4-0 in Presidents' Athletic Conference play with a 45-14 win over Waynesburg University on Saturday afternoon at DiSanto Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Spartans, now 4-1 on the year and 4-0 in PAC games, remained tied atop the conference standings with 11th-ranked Thomas More College. Waynesburg dropped to 2-4 on the year, with a 1-3 mark in the PAC.
Sophomore quarterback Rob Cuda accounted for a season-high six touchdowns in the win, running for three and throwing for another trio, with five of his six scores coming in the first half of play.
