Case Western Reserve University first-year centerfielder Nick Harms hit his third home run as many games, and the bullpen stretched its scoreless streak to 15-straight innings, as the Spartans defeated Emory University 12-3 to clinch a series win over the Eagles in Atlanta, Georgia in the teams' first University Athletic Association weekend of the campaign. The Spartans have now won five of their last seven games to improve to 9-10 overall and ended the first weekend of conference play with a 3-1 league record. Emory dropped to 14-11 following the loss.
