Four different Case Western Reserve University players scored at least 10 points, and nine scored at least six, as the Spartans defeated Hamilton College 83-73 inside Horsburgh Gymnasium on Sunday for the team's sixth-straight win.
The Spartans have now claimed six-consecutive wins since dropping their season opener. The team's 6-1 start matches the 1984-85, 2005-06 and 2014-15 CWRU teams for best record through seven games in team history. Hamilton dropped to 1-2 on the year following the loss.
On a day where the Spartans struggled to connect from long range, shooting just 15.8% (three-of-19) from behind the arc, the team found other ways to score the ball.
