The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team ran away from the University of Chicago in the second half of Friday night's game for an 84-66 win over the Maroons at Horsburgh Gymnasium.
The win for the Spartans, who improved to 14-2 overall, sets up a massive game on Sunday afternoon against third-ranked Washington University (Mo.), which suffered an overtime loss at Carnegie Mellon on Friday night to fall to 14-2 on the campaign. The Spartans and the Bears will enter Sunday's game with identical 4-1 UAA records, putting them both half-a-game behind Emory for first in the league.
