The Case Western Reserve University baseball team narrowly missed out on a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship field, as the squad failed to receive an at-large bid when the bracket was announced on Monday afternoon.
This completes a season for the Spartans that included the team winning its fourth University Athletic Association Championship and its first since the 2018 campaign. The team registered a 12-4 record in UAA games during the season.
CWRU finished the year with a 23-17 record, despite playing the toughest schedule in Division III during the year.
