The Case Western Reserve University baseball team picked up its first win of the 2016 campaign on Saturday, defeating Manchester University 19-12 in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Spartans later followed with a 3-0 loss to nationally 12th-ranked Heidelberg University. With the split, CWRU now stands at 1-4 on the season, while Heidelberg and Manchester each ended the day with 1-1 records.
