CWRU Baseball Announces 2017 Progressive Field Game

The Case Western Reserve University baseball team has announced the time, date and opponent for its annual game at Progressive Field, the home of the Cleveland Indians.

The game will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m., with the Spartans taking on crosstown opponent John Carroll University at Progressive Field for the second-straight season. Last season, the Spartans topped the Blue Streaks 6-1 behind a complete-game victory by Jake Shields, the first complete game thrown by a pitcher at Progressive Field last season.

The game will also serve as 'Senior Day' for the Spartans, as the team will honor its seven graduating players prior to the start of the contest.
