Case Western Reserve University senior quarterback Rob Cuda was named the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, while senior defensive end Dan Techman earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week award, after helping to lead the Spartans to a 35-14 win over Saint Vincent College on Saturday.
Cuda accounted for all five of the 17th-ranked Spartans' touchdowns in the game, completing 19-of-30 passes (61.3%) for a career-high 357 passing yards and four touchdowns, while adding a rushing score as well. He tallied touchdown passes of 13 yards, six yards and 32 yards in the first half, before adding a four-yard touchdown run and a 38-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
