Case Western Reserve University junior quarterback Rob Cuda was selected as the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for Football, after accounting for five touchdowns and throwing for a career-high 340 yards during the Spartans' 48-21 win over Thiel on Saturday.
Cuda completed 17-of-22 passes, including two touchdowns, while rushing for an additional 37 yards and three scores. He put the Spartans on the board in the first quarter with a 10-yard, and then added to the lead with touchdown passes of 60 yards and 72 yards on back-to-back drives in the second quarter.
