Carniol Receives PAC & UAA Special Teams Honors

Case Western Reserve University sophomore kicker Ben Carniol was selected as the University Athletic Association and Presidents' Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, after going four-for-four on field goal tries and adding a pair of extra points during the 18th-ranked Spartans' 36-32 loss to 12th-ranked Thomas More College on Saturday.

This was the second time this season that Carniol has won each award.

Carniol kicked field goals of 35-yards and 30-yards in the second quarter, and added 20-yard and 19-yard kicks in the third, while also successfully converting both extra point attempts on the day for a total of 14 points.
