Case Western Reserve University senior safety Cody Calhoun and sophomore tight end Adam Zybko were each named to the Academic All-District Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. By virtue of their selection to the All-District squad, Calhoun and Zybko will be included on the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Wednesday, December 13th.
Calhoun was recently named to the All-Presidents' Athletic Conference Second Team, following a regular season during which he started all 10 games for the Spartans and recorded 58 tackles (including 3.
