Cain Receives Prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Recent Case Western Reserve University graduate and former baseball player Kerrigan Cain (Hartville, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) was selected to receive the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, based on his success as a student-athlete both on and off the field during his time as a Spartan.

Cain becomes the first player in the history of the CWRU Baseball program to claim the honor, and the 21st Spartan athlete ever to receive the scholarship. He is the 10th Spartan to win an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship since 2006.

Cain played in 38 of the team's 39 games during his senior season, batting .
