Case Western Reserve University junior center fielder Aaron Cain was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week, after leading the Spartans to six wins in four days, batting .577 during the stretch.
Cain finished the week with 15 hits in 26 at bats, and led all Case Western Reserve players with two doubles, three triples, nine runs scored, seven runs batted in and four stolen bases on as many attempts. He recorded his first career five-hit game against the 22nd-ranked College of Wooster on Saturday, scoring a run, stealing two bases and doubling during the team's 5-4 win.
