For the second-consecutive season, Case Western Reserve University senior defensive end Cameron Brown has been named among the nominees for the Cliff Harris Award, which is presented to the nation's top defensive player among NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA colleges and universities.
Brown, a 2018 NFCA All-America Second Team honoree, was named the PAC's Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2019, becoming the first player in league history to earn the award twice. He was selected to the All-PAC First team for the third-straight year in 2019, and joined former Spartan center Gage Blair and wide receiver Tom Coniglio as the only three players in program history to be named to the All-PAC team four times over a career.
