Case Western Reserve University senior catcher Jack Anderson was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week after batting .600 with five extra-base hits over four games for the Spartans last week.
Anderson went nine-for-15 with five runs scored, three RBIs, three doubles, a triple, a home run, and a stolen base. He slugged 1.133 over the four games with a .625 on-base percentage. In a 3-1 loss to 15th-ranked Marietta, he went two-for-four with a double and his first career home run. In the second game of the doubleheader, a 3-1 win, he was three-for-four with a triple, a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base.
