Senior Temi Omilabu and freshmen Rasheed Ajala and Olivia Newman of the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams shattered school records in the season opening meet at The University of Mount Union.
In the women's weight throw, Omilabu took the title with a school-record shattering 16.35m throw on her fifth attempt. With the mark, she broke the previous record of 15.57m set by Elizabeth Ehrke in 2008.
Also in the throws, freshman Mikhaylan Price starts her career with a 10.58m throw and finished sixth overall.
