On a rain-soaked Saturday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio, the #21/17 Case Western Reserve University football team prevailed over Geneva College 30-23 at DiSanto Field. After leading 24-7 at the half, the Spartans (7-0, 6-0 PAC) held on for the victory to remain undefeated on the season and in first place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Golden Tornadoes drop to 3-5 on the season and 3-4 in the PAC.
With a two-game lead in the loss column and three games left in the season, Case Western Reserve can claim at least a share of the PAC title with a win next week at home over Bethany College.
