The 2021 season was a year of growth for the Case Western Reserve University football team. Despite a roster that consisted mostly of first-years and sophomores who had never played in a collegiate game before, the Spartans matured into a formidable squad by the end of the season, completing the year with a 6-4 overall record and a 5-4 mark in Presidents' Athletic Conference play.
The 6-4 record for the Spartans marked the team's sixth-consecutive winning campaign. The team's 5-4 record conference play was good for a fifth-place finish in the PAC.
CWRU's trademark during the campaign was its high-powered passing offense, led by senior quarterback Drew Saxton, which finished the year ranked 13th in Division III and led the PAC with 307.
