The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team recorded the best season in the program's history in 2021-22, winning a program-record 20 games and reaching the round of 16 in the team's first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
CWRU finished the year with a 20-7 overall record, besting the previous school record for wins in a season of 17, set during the 1984-85 and 1998-99 seasons. The Spartans went 8-5 in the UAA, recording a second-place finish in the conference standings, the first time the team had ever finished higher than fourth in the league.
The Spartans were ranked 12th in the final D3hoops.
