The 22nd-ranked Case Western Reserve University football team was picked to finish third in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in a poll of the league's coaches and sports information directors, and local media, conducted at the PAC Media Day on Wednesday afternoon at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
It marks the second-straight season the Spartans have been ranked third in the PAC Preseason Poll, matching the highest preseason ranking in the program's four years as an affiliate member of the conference. Case Western Reserve received three first-place votes and 302 total points.
Coming in ahead of the Spartans in the poll were #19 Thomas More College, with 23 first-place votes and 345 total points, followed by Washington & Jefferson College, with six first place votes and 308 points.
