The Case Western Reserve University men's indoor track and field team set six program records during the 2016-17 season, while also compiling five All-UAA honors during the University Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Championships and qualified one member of the squad for the 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Senior Nathaniel Wahner earned a ninth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a school-record time of 22.11 and a 13th-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.82 at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Naperville, Illinois.
Wahner achieved his qualifying times in each event after leading the way for the Spartans at the UAA Indoor Championships, hosted by Brandeis University.
