Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver left practice on Sunday with what the team called a lower leg injury. It is unrelated to the hamstring injury that kept him out during parts of the offseason program. Dave Canales specified that it was a foot injury, but both the X rays and the MRI have come back negative. That said, the Panthers are still going to hold Legette out of the preseason opener on Thursday and are calling him day to day.
