It was a particularly eventful practice yesterday in Carolina, so much so that it demands its own review.
Feeling particularly inspired by turnover master Charles Tillman and his lessons on the peanut punch, rookie corner Daryl Worley decided to put what he learned into action during a one on one drill with Devin Funchess yesterday...
... and instead, punched him in the throat.
Upon which, Devin took great exception, and wrestled with Worley all the way to the ground. There is no video replay of this incident that I can find... but generally you would see footballs being held much much lower than around someone’s neck region.
