With the 2016 draft now behind us, and after deciding that Cam Newton is the best draft pick in franchise history, I feel it's time to look back and answer one more important question.
What is the worst draft pick the Panthers have made?
On the surface one would think this is easy. It's Rae Carruth, right? Well, to make this discussion worth having, we're limiting the field by excluding players who didn't pan out for off-field reasons. We're also cutting players who didn't make it due to injury, because it's not exactly fair to crown a guy the worst draft pick ever if he stayed injured throughout his career.
