Would a win against the in Week 15 see interim head coach Christ Tabor fired so that a third head coach could oversee the third, and likely final, losing streak of the season? Probably not. I don’t think ownership of individual losing streaks is a specific metric that David Tepper uses to judge job performance by his coaches.
The good news for the Panthers, either way, is that they are not expected to beat the Falcons, leadership crises should never reach a boiling point over the losing streak consideration, and the narrative for this season will not be jeopardized by late season heroics.
