The Carolina Panthers are exceedingly narrowly favored to win for the first time in the 2024 season. That only took 15 weeks and a long moral victory streak. The Dallas Cowboys have been having a disappointing season, but that doesn’t mean you should bet on the Panthers. They are known agents of chaos and disappointment. That does mean you can once again risk it all on your favorite team—or, as is more often the case, bet against them.
The simple fact that they have given real teams a run for their money should not be taken as evidence that they can beat a bad team.
