According to Vikings.com, the Minnesota Vikings have signed free agent cornerback Josh Thomas.
Thomas spent last season with four different clubs and saw his most action while playing for Carolina in 2012 and 2013, totaling 48 tackles in that time span.
Viking.com writes:
'Thomas originally entered the NFL as a 5th round draft choice (143rd overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent training camp with Dallas before being claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers. Thomas spent three seasons in Carolina, with his best season coming in 2013 when he made 13 appearances (six starts) as part of a defensive unit that ranked second in the league in total defense.
